Empowered Black Girl Mentorship Program
October 2026 - March 2027
About The Program
The Empowered Black Girl Mentorship Program connects young Black Girls in grades 7-12 in Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland with professional Black Women mentors for six months of structured, identity-affirming mentorship. Mentees join one of three groups based on their goals - each designed to meet them where they are and help them grow.
Mentees are placed into one of three groups based on their goals, interests, and needs as shared in their application. Each group is led by a mentor with relevant professional experience and meets across six structured sessions combining in-person gatherings, virtual check-ins, and a field trip experience.
